TOPIC: Tumblr

I just set up a tumblr account: www.halcyonhomeinspection.tumblr.com

My initial plan is to use it to post pictures of "interesting" things that I find while onsite. As I was setting it up I noticed that I could embed the blog into my website, so I created a new page on my website and added the javascript. I am thinking about using this as my default blog for the site, since it seems easier that posting blogs directly on the site. Currently, I have to problems with the website text editor and constantly need to go into the source of the post and make html code changes until it looks good on Firefox, Safari and IE.

So, Dominic, what do you think about this plan? Is there any benefit to doing the blog on the website over tumblr? I have been using the click through option on my tumblr posts back to my site, so my thought is that using tumblr would increase my SEO.

No good. Google can't read Javascript. You need to type the blogs directly into your site.
