TOPIC: Can't edit my home page

I can't get my home page to edit. When I go to the bottom of the page and click on administration login it takes me directly to my user account (with edit) without asking me for my ID and password. So then I have my administration page ready until I click on HOME and the administration page disappears, then I can't edit the page. I go back to the bottom of the page click on administration login and the same thing happens.

Try going to your home page, hold shift and click refresh.

This will tell you how much of a computer geek I am. What key is the refresh key?

It has a circle with arrows, or you can hit F5.

OK I got to the edit page but it still didn't show the administration page along the left side of the home page. When I finished editing my home page submitted it, loged out. Then when I came back to the page my changes didn't show up. I tried this twice with the same results. Also all my other pages come up with the administration page when I click on them. When I went to "content" and clicked on "edit" the changes I made were there so I clicked on submit, and checked it out again and the changes were not there. I am very confused, but when it comes to computer stuff I can get confused easily.
