TOPIC: Custom Logo

I have made my company logos with Photoshop and have made the backgrounds transparent.  Once uploaded as a block, I get a white background square.  I have tried to make the background black to match my web page to make the background transparent (by editing in the block editor) but i still get a white backgroud.  How can I get rid of the white background?  They make my logos look like they were done with paint. :

Make sure to save the photo as a png or gif. JPEG does not support transparency.
