TOPIC: Open link in a new window

How do I get a link to open in a new window by default.
When a visitor clicks on my "email me" link, I don't want to steer them away from my site.  I know they can choose to open in a new window but I'm going to assume that they are like me; only moderately computer savvy.

When you're creating the link, look at the 2nd tab in the popup, it has a few options and one is to let the link open in a new window.

OK.  I found it.  I just added to the problem by using Java script for my email link.  I can't find a way to edit the link information here.  Thanks for the help.

The email link won't really matter as that usually spawns an entirely new program like Outlook to open.

It does that but depending on the email program it may be in the same window.
I'll hope that once someone has decided to email me, they will also go through the effort to visit the site again.

I'll check out the javascript, there's a way to open that in a new window too.
