TOPIC: Need Some Feedback and Advice

Calling all website gurus and esteemed home inspector forum . . . I need some input and advice on my recently published website:

I'll admit, I'm quite challenged with this web building business. I've been reading this message board lately and learning quite a lot. I'm still tinkering with the content, learning how to add things and struggling sometimes with the format and editing tools. I'm afraid I may still have a ways to go. 

Some questions I have: would a newsfeed margin block on my homepage help my ranking? Should I include my main city (Las Vegas) in all my URL and Metatags? Also would appreciate help with how to add exchange links. Do I manually create new pages for each home inspector exchange weblink that I add to my "links" menu? (maybe this is question for the SEO forum?)

Don't hesitate to be direct or blunt. I'm a battle-hardened home inspector afterall. I can take it!  ;D

Thank you all in advance for your help, and thank you Master Dom for being so responsive to my endless stream of questions early on in this project.

Yes, Vegas & Henderson should be on every page and in all your tags. Yes, a news feed from a Las Vegas newspaper (real estate section) would help your ranking.

The actual phrase: Las Vegas Home Inspector needs to be on every page of your site as well. You want the words together so Google knows to rank you for the phrase.

Think about putting less info on your pricing page. You want to get them to call you, not price shop and move on.

Include what cities you found the photos you took in the gallery in the detailed description during your 'home inspection.'

You're on the right track!

Didn't look around a whole lot, but I agree with Dom. Remove your fees, and have them call. Otherwise they have al the info they think they need, and may jut move on. Maybe include a starting price to get their interest, but that's about it.

I thought that message may have been somewhat obscured in my home page, but apparently it may be missing altogether. I took a look at your sites and I like how you've emphasized, and re-emphasized, your unique selling points up front. I have to be little careful since our state standards of conduct prohibit inspectors from offering "warranties or guaranties of any kind" but that I guess that can be worked around.
