TOPIC: Posting images

Posting images 14 years 9 months ago #28580

Does it make any difference if pictures, logos, etc are copied and pasted onto a website as opposed to taken from a tif or jeg?  What I mean is:  do the search engines look at image attachments as more relevant than copied pictures?

If you're copying and pasting the image from your computer then you're probably the only person who can see it. If you're using code from another site and actually loading it using code from another site then you're more than likely slowing down your page load time and Google won't look at it the same as including your own image.

You want the image to be uploaded to your site using the image button then added to the page.
