TOPIC: Adding HTML

Adding HTML 15 years 2 months ago #22738

I wish to add a HTML code to my site and am confounded.
Got a right side block and added images with no problem but how the heck do i add HTML code.

For you NACHI guys this is the emblem that viewers caqn click to go to your membership info.

I of course first tried to past it directly into a table cell and got this....instead of the picture.(see below this).....

<a href=" www.nachi.org/verify.php?nachiid=NACHI06081781 " target="_blank"><img src=" www.nachi.org/images/logos-banners/seal....achiid=NACHI06081781 " width="98" height="102" alt="Certified by the National Association of Certified Home Inspectors - Click here to verify." border="0" /></a>

Next I hit the source button and got all the code for the entire table, so i pasted it at the end and got this......

<a href=" www.nachi.org/verify.php?nachiid=NACHI06081781 " target="_blank"><img src=" www.nachi.org/images/logos-banners/seal....achiid=NACHI06081781 " width="98" height="102" alt="Certified by the National Association of Certified Home Inspectors - Click here to verify." border="0" /></a>

Please help as I am in personal He-l over this.

Simple explanation for us cavemen please. ??? ??? ???

OK here is the kicker
Why do I get the graphic here and not on my site....AAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!

To make this even stranger the image here when clicked says no such member even though i copied it directly off my other site.
Double AAAHHHHHHHHHHH!

You click SOURCE and paste the code at the end of your block, just like you stated. It will work fine. You might need to right click & shift-refresh to see it.

Hi Dom
Did not want to bug you on chat and here you are anyway.

I saw the HTML code repeated but you say if I refreash that should do it
ok will try but also just realized I added 10 cells ahead of time.
Damn , now I gotta somehow figure @ cell in HTML code.
Guess I gotta be like those guys in the Matrix and read it as a superman .(lol)

Or I could kill my work and start adding cells as I use them .
Ok thanks will try it.

P.S I did that so I would have spacing preset.

You can right click on a cell and delete it. Or in the code the < td > and < / td > start and end a cell.

Thanks but when I see lines of them I get confused on which ones go where.
All I know is <> acts as a parenthesis to contain information but that is the easy part.

All is easy for you Matrix guys. :'(

I only had a few images in so far and they are in the system folder in browse (I know it has some other name) so I will just add one cell at a time.
Should be easier for me as the whole idea is to line them up vertically .

I don't even see the code any more, I just see what's going on within the matrix :)
