TOPIC: How to handle multiple blogs

How to handle multiple blogs 15 years 5 months ago #16534

I know many of us blog on ActiveRain, or other sites, as well as on our own sites. Is it acceptable to just copy my blogs from AR to my site?

Yes, but I'd at least make some minor adjustments. The more sites you copy it to, the more adjustments you want to make.

I was afraid you would say that. What kind of minor changes? I do not want to rewrite the blogs, I am not that motivated :).

LOL. Let's put it this way, as long as the articles only exist on one or two other sites I wouldn't worry about it. If you start putting it on more sites, then start getting out the thesaurus.

I was informed by active rain when I recently became an official rainmaker, that active rain is designed to consume the internet and search engines. The rep told me to go ahead and post the same blog to other sites such as personal website, facebook, twitter, myspace. ect just make sure that you post it to active rain first and that will be the site of your original content.

Whether or not this information was correct it sounded like it made sense at the time it was explained to me.

Doesn't matter where you post it, the more it's posted as duplicate content, the less unique it is, and the less effective it is. ActiveRain wants their site to be popular , that's great. You want YOUR site to be popular. Post everything on your site first and foremost.
