TOPIC: Theme 2 and nachi image questions

Hi Dominic:

I am trying to follow the site information tutorial and have Three problems.
#1. The company name is squeezed on top of the theme #2 house photo. I don't know how to move the company name so it fits properly.

#2. The INACHI Logo used for membership verification does not work. It shoud be larger.

#3. The E-mail address does not work. I get a (5.1.0 - Unknown address error 550-'"Unknown User"') when I use pat@wisemanhomeinspections.

Hi Patrick,

Thanks for pointing the post.

1. You don't want to put in all that information for your company name " PJC Home Inspections LLC serving Orange County, New York" , You only want to put in PJC Home Inspections LLC. That spot isn't meant to hold that much info. You have the rest of the info in your mission statement on the cover of your front page already and you can also create a block and add it to the top of the left side bar if you want.

2. The NACHI Logo isn't going to work as a site logo. Go to Blocks, click Add Block, give the block a title of INACHI Logo, then add the logo here. Make sure to make the logo link to your INACHI verification page. Then save the block. Now on the main blocks page find your INACHI block and set the location to be Left Sidebar. You can make the weight -10 to bring it to the top of the site. This way you can also resize it as much as you want as well.

3. Fixed, that account will now forward to your personal email account.

Let me know if the block stuff makes sense, it's going to be in a future animated tutorial, but I'll work on a written tutorial today.

Thank You for your reply.

#1. I adjusted the title ( company Name) The problem is that it depends on which browser I use Theme HI 2 has a different house pictured. The House pictured in the Internet Explorer takes up more room squezzing the company name. When I use firefox the house is smaller and allows the title to be centered. How can I change that photo? Is there a clip file I can use without specific authorization?

#2. I removed the INACHI logo from the header and tried to move it to the top of the left colum. The verification does not work without additional programming. I went to the nachi.org site ( www.nachi.org/webseal.htm )This page has instructions for making the verification seal operatable. Frankly I have no idea how to apply the information.

#3. I tested the E-Mail forwarding and it works great.

Hi Patrick.

1. I see what you're mean. The house is actually the same size on both, it's the font that's slightly to the left in IE. I'll fix that in the code right now, you should see the update within a few minutes.

2.  For #2 Follow what I listed above for #2 with one addendum. When you are editing the block, click on the Source button in the editor. Then you can paste the code from the INACHI site and your set!

#2. I have the logo (verification seal ) at the top of the left colum and it does work.

How do I center it over the left colum? I tried re-sizing but it needs to go to the left.

You can't make it bigger as that just stretches out the smaller image making it look bad. I asked Nick if they had a larger 'Click to Verify' logo and he told me to talk to Chris (which I'm going to do). If they don't have one, I'll make one out of their other logos.

I'm fixing the themes CSS, you're right, images aren't centering properly on the left.
