Does anyone add the optional page title to their web pages? If you do, does your optional title reflect your keywords or do you mimic the other page title.
Thanks

I definitely use it. Sometimes, I will have different things for Page Title, Optional Page Title, URL, Menu Title, and Menu Description.

There's a right way to use it; it depends on how you want each page to read/be seen and what is most user-friendly.

As Mike said, definitely use it. The page title that appears in your browser bar is very important for SEO, as is the title of the page that appears in the body. The page title in the browser you can only add a few words as your site slogan is appended to it. So the other title box will allow you to change the name on the page.

I have a real case of personal stupidity going on right now. The text that I add into the box with the caption listed below, where does that show up. Because I already have a page title on each page, a url for each page and this title would be # 3. Should this title tie into the text on the page, my sites keywords or both.  ???

The one in the <title> tag appears at the TOP of the browser window itself. It's also the title of the listing that Google uses on its search results.
