TOPIC: Block Placement

A blocks a block. The different names are just left over from different blocks we've made during testing. A few of them are pre-setup for certain themes.

Correct me if I am wrong, but the blocks seem to be limited especially in the header area. For example, I placed my logo in a block and placed it in the header. It is placed in a predetermined spot. Anyway I can move the block around in the header? I tried using the weight, but that does not appear to do anything. If not, maybe in the next versions this feature can be added?

The regions a block can go into are always some defined space. If you add a logo you can move it by hitting enter above it to move it down or click it and click center to center it, use the space bar to nudge it some, etc.

OK, any chance a future version will give us more versatility?

I don't see what more versatility you want. You can place it anywhere in the header area that's set on each theme. I guess I could make the header area expand the entire width but that would be more confusing for people who don't edit the header image. For example if it went all the way across theme 8 then text added to a block would overlap the image on the left unless someone created a table with a few cells and right aligned the text.

I do not mean to argue, maybe I am doing something wrong, but when I tried to put my logo in theme 10 for example, I can not move the logo anywhere I want. It placed it for me, in the middle section. I can not move it to the left or the right. Can I place the logo over the house?

If I use photoscape for example, I can move the logo to any spot on the theme by moving the box.
