TOPIC: How do I verify my website with Google+

Hello all
This may have been asked before.......if so, sorry for the repeat.

I have set up my company Google+ page and it asks to verify my website.

The message says copy an paste a bit of code (the code is there) to my website home page.  It does not, however say where to paste it

Can anyone tell me where to past the code and what will happen when/if I do that?

Edit the home page body, click SOURCE and paste the code anywhere.
