TOPIC: How to create your own forms

Re: How to create your own forms 15 years 11 months ago #6391

Not currently, no. The system has the ability to add advanced checking but I'd have to write the code for it. Something like that would be specific to each instance. We can take a look at it in the future.

Hey, everyone! I'm new to the web hosting program. I would like to add a small very simple form to the left sidebar for prospects to sign up for a newsletter. Is this possible?
Thanks,
Robin

There actually is a way but I have to do it (requires php which is off by default for security reasons). Let me know which form it is and I'll make the block for you. Then you can customize the form as much as you want afterwards.

Hey guys, I just transferred my paper satisfactin survey to a webform on my site. There are a few kinks yet, like it doesn't explain the rating system, which I know I put in somewhere, but I will get that figured out. Let me know what you guys think. I think my customers will like this alot more than the paper ones I give them, just wondering if they wil actually fill it out. I may go with both for a while here and see which one gets more response. Anyway, here it is. Let me know what I need to change.

Also, dom, where do I find the CAPTCHA option so I can put this in, and is there a way we can put that in our blog also. I have been getting a lot of rubbish from the robots in my comment section for my blog.

Hi Ian,

I have to turn the CAPTCHA on individual forms for now which I just did. You want to remove those spaces from your URL for better SEO. For ratings you can use a drop down box and put 1-10 in it.
