TOPIC: How to Add a News Feed to your Website

Hey Dominic how do you add a news video to the web site? There is one that I would like to add from the early show.

Assuming it's on youtube, just copy the code to the right of the video, click Source on the page you want it on, and paste the code.

Its not on youtube. Its on the cbs early show. I can not find the code. When would I look?

Followed the directions and tried about 7-8 different news feeds.  Shows uploaded and ready to go. When I go to blocks, it's there, so I click  right block, save block- then check to see if it's there.  No.  Any ideas?

If you just added them you'll need to go to newsfeeds and click update which will force an update now and good to test. Otherwise they should update every 24 hours.

I added a local newsfeed that appears on the right block of my site.  The menu heading stands out, but the local feed is nearly the same color as the background, making it almost unreadable.  How do I change the color?

The local newsfeed you added is javascript and won't help your site rank. It's color would be controlled by the site that gave you the code. They probably have some options for it.

You'll notice the difference if you right click on your page and click View Source. On the feeds you've run through our newsfeeds you can see the text, but not with the other one.
