TOPIC: 2 houses, one report

2 houses, one report 7 years 11 months ago #63321

Anyone know of a way to split or double a template that would allow me to have 2 houses on the same report. Like house A and House B, but use the same template separately for each.

I do two separate reports as to keep it from getting convoluted.
I do have it setup in my default template with a tab for out buildings.
However, If doing more than the main dwelling..Let's say a mother-in -law cottage it will have it's own separate report.
It's a lot easier to read and it is easier for you.

I just do a separate report for each home and use my Adobe Acrobat to combine the two files into one.

If they are full homes, I would just keep them as separate reports.  I use 2 templates that are almost identical.  One is my default that has tabs for detached garage / shop, shop, barn, garage / shop with living space, shop with living space, barn with living space, and detached living space (usually art studio or work out room).  My most used template is Default with no outbuildings.  Duplexes have their own template as do tri-plex and four-plex.

There is nothing sweeter than the smell of fresh cut grass on a baseball infield, the click of a wooden bat and the taste of a hot dog at a warm sunny daytime double-header.
