TOPIC: Questions on Template Structure

When editing comments, what is the function of the "Description Text: Materials" and "Description Text: Observations"?

Also, how are general descriptive comments like "What's Inspected" to header a section and "Limitations" to finish out a section, added into the template? (I've seen "Limitations" added as an additional section tab, so perhaps another tab for 'What's Inspected'?)

As an example, I'd like this text to appear as a preface to my 'Building Exterior' section:

"Inspection of the home exterior typically includes: exterior wall covering materials, window and door exteriors, adequate surface drainage, driveway and walkways, window wells, exterior electrical components, exterior plumbing components, potential tree problems, and retaining wall conditions that may affect the home structure. Note: The General Home Inspection does not include inspection of landscape irrigation systems, fencing or swimming pools/spas unless prearranged as ancillary inspections."

The same to be said for a page with 'Terms and Conventions Used in this Report'.

The Description Text is being added to the left of the narratives on the report.

The descriptive comments you're referring to are added via Edit Documents. See the tutorials under Tutorials on our site for more details.

I need new glasses, I guess : I've gone through most of the tutorials several times, but missed that one....

For the Description Text....I should probably just play with it because the only thing that I can see to the left of the narratives are the ratings boxes ???

It'll show up when you have narratives selected. It won't show if you have none selected.
