TOPIC: Selection & Damage Panel Resizing Question

Selection & Damage Panel Resizing Question 9 years 6 days ago #61034

Hi Dominic,

My template has many components that have a selection panel and a damage panel with the selection panel being used for materials or descriptions.

Many of these components do not require a lot of listed items in the selection panel so there is a lot of wasted space. I can manually resize the selection panel smaller but it does not stay that way, even after saving the template.

Is there a way to keep the panels at the desired size? If not, can you code that feature into the software?

I've attached 2 screenshots.

Thanks, Steve

Well, apparently you're not concerned with resource management, but hey, whatever works for you  ;)

Explain how resource management has anything to do with blank space?
Over time you may fill the blank spaces in with comments.

You could always take advantage of the space by adding separation between comments.

I had that question when I started using HIP.  I now like to use damage panels only because that gives more room for narratives.  I use a small screen and with both a selection and damage panel on the screen there is not much room, especially for the damage panel.
