Is it possible to place hyperlinks within comments that are accessible, as hyperlinks, from within HIP and perhaps within a note? What is the differences in a note vs a caption? ie: If I'm going over a report with people onsite and am challenged I'd like a comment I can open up that is full of hyperlinks to PDFs on my server or to webpages on the internet.

Yes just type the full url including the http:// and it'll be clickable.
Caption comments will also show as drop downs under captions. Watch for more details. |

Let me rephrase - I think I hit the post button before I read what I wrote.
Looking at HIP, not the PDF report, can I make text in to a hyperlink? Having it available at this location would allow me to include links to references that I can use as I perform an inspection or as needed when reviewing the PDF report with a client. Let's say I don't want the hyperlinks to be visible on the report, just for me, if I want links available within the HIP interface and perhaps captured within notes so that they don't show up on reports or even as narratives not actually intended to be used in the final report is that possible? I can mock up a sample screen shot if need be. |

You could definitely add notes with url's but they wouldn't be clickable unfortunately. At least not at this time.
