TOPIC: South Florida Template

Hey guys, new to HIP, and just getting started trying to find my way around the templates. Wondering if someone has a template that is already south Florida friendly (for the most part anyway). I know we have a mix of structures here but for the most part they are concrete block on slab. I have for 20 years been doing my inspection starting with the Site--Exterior/Structure -HVAC-Electrical-Plumbing and then room by room and would like to keep i that way since its hard to teach an old dog new tricks ,  Or should I just take the Default Temp and modify to my needs. Thanks for any suggestions.

Hi Fred,

You'll find the default template will suite your really well though you'll end up dropping the basement section. There's are tons of other templates here shared on the forum, just see the master thread listed in this section. I've found over the years that 2 guys can be 30 miles apart and a template from someone in another state will fit them better. Homes really differ pretty wildly even within the same city.
