Hey Ted,
If you have a 64 bit version of Vista (which you might), then the program would be under Program Files (x86), you'll actually have 2 different Program Files folders. Let me know if that's the problem. If not then we can do a remote connection and find where you installed the program. You do have the Home Inspector Pro icon on your desktop right? |

Not if you actually installed it. If you installed it , it would go to one of those two locations. Do you see the Green inspector icon on your desktop? If you do, right click on it and click on properties, it will list the path of where it's installed. Copy that and paste it here.

Hi Dominic,
I found it in "my documents" I found the other templates there too and saved it with them. will hip operate properly in my documente as it would in my c drive? I made a couple of fake reports and saved then when I open them sometimes to view them so I could print it sometime it says it is already open and won't open, maybe thast something else I could be doing not correct I don't know. Ted heres the properties pathway-"C:\Users\teds\Documents\Home Inspector Pro\HomeInspectorPro.exe" |

The program will work fine in your my documents. When you generate a report it opens it up in Adobe Acrobat. You need to close the report in Acrobat before you go back to the program, make more changes and generate the report again. Otherwise Acrobat has the file locked and the program can't print to it.
Make sure to save the template in the Data folder within the Home Inspector Pro folder then within the program just click Open Template and you're set! Dominic |
