TOPIC: New Construction/Progress Report In HIP Anyone, I'm Desperate

New Construction/Progress Report In HIP Anyone, I'm Desperate 14 years 2 months ago #35453

Asking again, Does anyone have a new construction draw/progress inspection template in HIP that they would be willing to share.  I am desperate.  Dom please ring in if you have any suggestions, if someone would share a secret one I promise not to tell.  I have a paper printout that I used on site with 29 items on it, that starts with site prep through landscaping and miscellaneous, very simple just percentage per item complete, but I can't figure out how to do it without making the 29 pages long, ideal would be one page long with 29 items on it.  I want to try to use HIP for the fact that I can add tons of photos to it.
Please help, stuck on stupid.
Thanks either way,
T.J.

Hi TJ,

Watch the two animated tutorials on how to edit a template. You can just add those items to one area of a report. Or if you'd like and you're willing to share the template once it's done, just send it to me with the 29 items and I'll put it together for you. Then share it once you've added some narratives.

Hey T.J.

Email me your 29 items. And let’s see if I can make a template for you. Together, we can maybe come up with a good Pre-Drywall Template that could be added to HIP.

Hey T.J.

Attached is a Template I created using your 29 items. It is 5 pages long, including the cover. Taker a look at it. You can change/add/move around comments.  You can add photos to any item because they are all damage panels. Attached is a sample .pdf report. Download/copy template ("New Construction Phase Inspection.tpz" file) into your HIP "data" folder.

Let me know if this helps.

Hey Serge,
Thanx so much for all your help, it looks great, will keep you posted on how it works for me. Got so many things going on right now in my life that I can't even focus right now too bad it isn't inspections.
Thanx again for all you do,
T.J...

Looks great Serge. TJ, you copy create a comment saying 'Completed on 9/15/10' and then copy and paste that into each section.
