No, photos need to be added to evey report. And I would also speed up my onsite time If I did not have to add the same limitations to evey page. This would save me 20-50 selections. |

If the limitations are always the same, I'd add them into your Document for the header of the section.

Jim, you could save an inspection preloaded, which a few guys do, but it's harder to keep track of your new comments. That's why we're adding the feature to the template.

Dom the preloaded comment template would have all comments loaded as if everything was perfect and then the only changes would be where the issues are.
The complication involved might be say instead of gas the stove is electric and in a sense would be treated as a defect in having to go back and change or add something. The good part is for instance is all the redundant tips on maintenance such as when having a light fixture tab and the lights are "can type" you might want to remind them to use only par spot bulbs under 75 watts however with a pre saved template would you have that included automatically?. There are many variations of every style home. Docs ? sure but the doc section only dumps everything at the first page of a section making it dis jointed to something like that. Non the less I find myself re clicking over and over certain issue type items such as seal bathroom grout to avoid possible loose tile or add charcoal filters to the vent less range hood. Some of the redundant typing could be solved by ourselves if we simply tie these comments together rather than as short sentences that must be clicked separately to form a single thought. Drop downs may help out on some of these as the long paragraphs might save time in drop downs while using dropdowns just to change a single word really does not save time with the extra clicks involved in using the drop down. Again as in the past I recommend Active Words software to help shorten some of the time. |
