How do I print out a blank report or template to use in the field before I finish my report on my computer?

Hey Chuck,
You can just "Generate Report" & print it out & use it as a checklist. You can also "copy it & paste it" into a reg. word doc. & alter it any way you want it to fit your needs. You might search the archives, there have been several checklists on here from time to time.

Exactly what T.J. said The only thing I'd add is to print in continuous mode (Report Settings->Options) to save paper and laminate it.

Thanks T.J. and Dominic, that sounds very simple and I must not be doing something right.

Here are the steps that I am taking, after opening the program I am using the evaluation program to see how effective I am going to be using this program. It opens the client information page, then I clicked generate report. It then opens a Save window, I make up a name to save the file as and click save. The next screen that pops up is a Warning window (Red Circle with an X) that is titled acrord32. The text says "Windows cannot find 'acrord32'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again. To search for a file, click the Start button, and then click Search."

What now? I am lost. This is my first dealings with this program and the demo file on the website is down due to updating for the 2010 version.

I would really appreciate your assistance in helping me get started.

I'm not real sure, check & make sure you have the latest version of HIP & other than that I'm not much help. I went through the same steps that you did & after I made up a name & saved it, it brought up the generated report. Might have to have Dom ring in here, I don't know what to tell you. Dom Help !!!!Search the archives as there has several types of checklists on here & on the NACHI board too.
