Basement is not listed under the default template for a location under Laundry and when I click edit comments and add, it does not want to appear in the location areas with the rest of them.
What am I doing wrong? |

You probably filled up the first column of locations. Hit the right arrow once to scroll to the right and see if it's there. You can move items up/down as well to rearrange them in order that you use the most.

Duh!!! me.
Yep, it's there, four times. ;D Awh well, had to improvise. Thanks Dom. and this third one went a lot smoother than the first two. Still take me 3 hours to fill in the report and all the editing I need to do to fit the conditions, and 1 hour to drop in the pictures with captions. 3 hours of field inspections. One hour to put the inspection binder together with all my accessory added information and one half hour to go package and mail, Man, and some guys do three a day. They have got to be kidding. At least I got better this time. Thanks for your help Dominic. |

Wow, Marcel! Ok, first are you adding photos one at a time? It definitely shouldn't take you an hour to do photos. I know it's only your 3rd inspection with it, but still. Make sure you're using batch add to add all the photos at once. Most inspectors don't do the binder anymore, they just email off the reports. This would save you 90 minutes alone!

I do add the batch photos Dom, but there is 60 this time to delete or add and add the captions.
This was an easy one and still ended up with 40 pages with photos. I know the binder is a lot more work, but sure looks like the client paid for what he got. Maybe I am to technical on my inspections. That is a strong possibility. I still need to edit the template to suit my needs. I'll send you a copy so you can look at it to critize it. Thanks. |

Ok, you don't have to delete any photos. If you don't select the drop down boxes, they save for your reference but won't print in the report.
At this point most people are very happy with a digital copy of the report that they can have high quality photos with. I'd say very few guys use a binder any more. Some give them a home manual, and if they finish off site they email. I don't know anyone else who mails their report. |
