TOPIC: I need help!!! I take to long and my template sucks!!

I think a hybrid of room by room and systems is the most efficient, similar to the default template.

Dave, when you're out in the field , how much are you entering?

I enter about 75% of the selection and damage panels.

How long are you spending editing photos and assigning them to sections. What's the break down of that hour?

15-30 minutes finishing selection/damage. 30-60 minutes photos. 15-30 proof reading.
5-30 minutes uploading.

1/2 hour to proof seems like quite a long time. Any reason it takes you that long? Watching TV and proofing doesn't work well(hehe).

No TV.

You REALLY need to get a network cable so your updates are a minute or less rather than 5-30. You're wireless connection has issues!

How many photos are you taking? Now that you know you don't have to bother deleting photos that should save you another 5-10 minutes. 30-60 is a long time. Are you using the pre-entered captions, or typing your own each time?

50-125 photos. Pre entered/none/my own for captions

Why is your reviewing the report taking 30 minutes. Are you finding yourself making a lot of changes?

I would say on the average I have about 10-15 errors of grammar, description and explanation mostly due to my poorly created template.

When you make changes to your template during each inspection, are you clicking Save Template so the comments are saved correctly for the next inspection?
