I have a template created.
First section is Roof 3 inspection items: Roof Systems, Gutters & Downspouts, Roof Penetrations Each inspection item has a selection and damage window. I enter naratives in selection panel for roof systems and save template I enter naratives in selection panel for Gutters & downspouts and save template I enter naratives in selection panel for Roof Penetrations and save template When I review the sections each panel has the naratives for roof penetrations the others have been erased or are blank. I have done this several times now it is the only section of the template giving me this issue. If I delete the naratives from one panel it deletes the naratives from the other 2 panels |

You must have copied a tab within the same section which causes a problem as they originally had the same name. We've prevented this from occurring in our latest version (in the beta section and going public shortly). To fix this you can make a copy of the entire Roof page, call it Roof2, delete the original Roof page and then rename Roof2 to Roof. This will reset the internally numbering system for the items. Also, update to
www.homeinspectorpro.com/dmdocuments/Hom...o-2_6_6_8-Update.exe
and it won't allow you to copy within the same section any more, preventing this problem.

John, what type of title did you give your damage panels? Did you title them "Roof Systems Conditions", or just "Conditions". If all three damage panels are titled just conditions without something from the parent section such as Gutters, Roofing, ect. the damage panels will not stand apart from each other.
Hope that helps. If you still have trouble you can email me the tpz file and I will look at it for you. This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. |

Drew I sent you a my tpz file.
Thank you for taking the time to look at it. If you have any suggestions they are much appreciated. Dominic I copied the roof page and removed the previous one as you suggested. This did not seem to fix the problem. It also moved the roof page to the back of my report although it shows that it should be in the front. I can't seem to get it to move back to the front. I ran the update that you linked to and tried the copy page scenario again, but still no luck. |

Rearranging pages is under Report Settings->Section Colors & Print Order. This allows you to inspect in one order and print in another. Make sure to Save Template to make the changes permanent. Sounds like you have the same damage panel name for all 3 items like Drew thought. The Tab name is just for your reference, the damage panel name must be unique and is what shows on the report. Drew will know more though as he has your tpz file.
