I think John's right. They obviously used submarine parts for the house plumbing

Yeah, yeah,,,wasnt there a place called ---
Crazy Ivans Discount Plumbing Supply and Submarine Parts Emporium.

oh the old commercials were great too- What was that old slogan again??

so yeah remember how lots of the stuff was'nt stocked or labeled right? cause Ivan was really crazy

Lots of people came there looking for a plumbing vent stack but ended up with a periscope coming out of their roof tops ( unfortunately- submarine periscopes do not vent sewer gas well)

You could always use the diesel snorkel to vent sewer gases! And they would automatically shut when your area floods!!!
