TOPIC: Call to Heaven

An American photographer on vacation overseas was taking some photos inside a church when he noticed a golden phone on the wall with a sigh underneath saying $10.000 a call.  Being curious he asked a passing Priest what the phone was for and the Priest said it was a direct line to heaven and for 10.000 you could talk to god. The fellow thanked the Priest and went on his way. On his return trip he stopped in Atlanta, Washington, Philadelphia New York and on the last leg of the trip home, Seattle. In each city he visited the major cathedrals and in each he saw the same golden phone with the same sign saying 10.000 a call. He received the same explanation from the staff of each, the phone was a direct line to god. Hearing of what was supposed to be a particularly fine cathedral in nearby Vancouver Canada. The man traveled to the city and on entering noticed the same golden phone on the wall but the sign read calls .50 cents. He called over the priest and explained what he had seen in all the other churches and asked why the call fee was so cheap here. The Priest replied with a smile your in  Canada now my son, it's a local call. ;D
