TOPIC: New Inspector needing assistance.

Good day to everyone. I am in desperate need of assistance please. I am a new inspector and have been trying desperately to figure new software out for my inspections. I did download the trial version of homeinspectpro software. But I am looking to have a paper form that I can carry with me and be able to x-fer info to PC after inspection is completed. Do not have a lot of time I am expecting to do an inspection this Sunday, and would rather not have to carry pc with everywhere. Thank you in advance for the assist.

This may or may not help. A couple of inspectors are printing out a template and using it as a note pad and entering info. later. The HIP default template may not contain all the info. you want without being tweaked. That is the beauty of HIP, its flexibility. I help out an Inspector who only takes notes and pics. in the field and then enters the inspection later. The pics. are the most important for record and memory purposes.

I created a blank report form and then had laminated and I take with me to do exterior and interior if needed. I created it on HIP.
I understand your lack of time.

Welcome to the site. Like the others have mentioned, just open the program and click Generate Report and you'll get a blank report with the sections to fill in. I suggestion going to Report Settings->Options first and checking the box for printing in continuous mode (uses less paper). You can enter directly into the program later.
