I only dress that way on special occasions (cough cough). The rest is done with mirrors and lighting!

I think you should absoutly post your prices, when I'm online looking for somthing and there are no prices I simply go to the next site.

I just got my certification, I'm going to dive into it the first of the new year, my goal is 200 inspections. As far as pricing, most of the Home Inspectors in my area go by Sq. Ft. starting around $250.00 then adding on from there.

I disagree.  Posting prices gives someone a way NOT to call you, if THEY think you are too high.  I like to be able to talk to potential clients and sell myself before giving them my price.

I have seen good arguments both ways (post prices/ don't post prices).  I don't think anyone can fault you for either, as long as you are comfortable with the REASON you do it (or not).

I finally figured out that by the time someone calls me, they already want my business, I don't have to sell it.  I just answer their questions and book it.

Understood.  That's one of the benefits of posting pricing.

One of the drawbacks:

How many people haven't called you because they only saw (or looked at) your pricing?  That's my point.
