Hi Guys,
I want to buy a new rechargeable torch, I am sick of buying batteries all the time. I have been looking at the LED Lenser M7R. Has anyone got some advice on a good torch especially when you are in an attic and want to light the whole thing up? Regards Steve |

Been using a
Fenix TK60
for a while and love it! Batteries last FOREVER even with just 3 cells in use... But it is a bit bulky.
Next purchase will likely be a Fenix TK41 Not a fan of proprietary batteries. Being able to use D cells or AA cells is a huge plus for me in not needing 6000 different proprietary chargers for all my equipment. |

Ive had the LED Lenzer M7R for about a year. Will never carry another light. Never had it go out. Stays tight on my hip, easy pop out of holder, I use the beam / wide one hand motion ALL THE TIME. Got mine from a cop shop. Could have gotten it cheaper online. You can't go wrong. Had it on for 7 hours straight one time. Never went out and since it is an LED, doesn't go dim. Charges pretty quick as well.

There is nothing sweeter than the smell of fresh cut grass on a baseball infield, the click of a wooden bat and the taste of a hot dog at a warm sunny daytime double-header.

Yeah I ended up buying the LED Lenser M7R and it has been great. The wide beam is great for scanning walls and ceilings and has no bright spots in the middle just a consistent light pattern. I bought mine on Ebay paid about AUD $95.

I have a surefire light and I like it alot. However the batteries are not cheap. However I do prefer batteries over having to charge it up. but that's me.
