TOPIC: One of my four mock inspections

The dimensions listed are "Always" for total "Open-able" area of emergency egress windows.  The requirement only applies to bedrooms and or sleeping areas.  Windows located above the ground floor would need 5.7'sf.  The fact that they open to a roof is not a problem.  The size requirement is not only for you to get out, but also for the fire fighter to get in with breathing apparatus and or equipment.  Egress windows don't need to provide a method of descent, just the proper size opening for the fire department to provide rescue...

FYI if a room or a area has to much personnel stuff to fully inspect with your written notation take a photo of the areas for visible proof in your report, nice job..

Thanks for all the great comments guys, it is definitely a good feeling to know I'm off in the right direction! 
Also, I just got my last two mock inspections back from NACHI with their stamp of approval.  Of all the membership requirements, the four mock inspections had me worried the most. ***Shameless plug follows*** Without the help of Dominic and HIP, I wouldn't have been able to turn in such great looking reports!!!
I'm off to school next week to get certified with IFREC.. I'll be telling everyone there what a great program this is!!
