Do you ever tun into thermostats that you don't know how to operate?  What I'm thinking of is programmable thermostats that you don't how to override to turn on the furnace, air conditioner or heat pump?
Thanks.

When I first experienced a Rite Temp thermostat it took me some time to figure out the stylus pen function and how to raise the temp up & down.

Then there are the ones that have dead or low batteries.

I had one the other day that would not raise the temperature properly but it would lower OK.

I never operate Humidistats and note in my reports Not inspected

Yes, I have ran into a few that are somewhat difficult to navigate. Always carry some fresh batteries in case they are dead, batteries are cheap. Usually I can figure them out and get them to fire the furnace though.
