Hello everyone, I use an Iphone 15 Pro for my mobile device and it takes great photos, macros included. The problem is it does not take good quality photos on the HIP mobile app. It's like I am using an antiquated old phone. Macros are not clear at all. I have to keep the phone about 2 feet away from inspection tags and then edit on the laptop. Anyone else have this issue? I have checked all my settings and don't see any issues there. Short of switching to a different phone, I am lost for an answer. Thanks in advance for helpful comments.

Hi Eric,
The HIP Mobile Cam will typically only work with the main lens of a device. Modern Devices have up to 6 lenses these days. You can choose to disable the HIP Cam and use your on board cam to take the photos. In the settings tab you will see HIP Cam Enabled. Tick that off and then hit Save at the bottom of the settings page. See if that works better for using the other lenses. We are working on the new build of the mobile app that will allow use of the other lenses on the devices. I believe we are looking to get that out early next year. |
