TOPIC: Edit mode question?

I n Report Settings, when I turn on the Edit mode, and then get the ability to Move UP/Move Down, and ADD a narrative,
there is a field on the left, that contains text stating "Observations:"

So I'm thinking, since there's a box, and you can change it, why not?...

Can I change this to Observed?

I tried editing that text, but on generating the report, it seems to default to that "Observations" text again. :'(

You can change it to whatever you want and it will affect that section only. Click the Edit Comments button on the toolbar by the way, it'll stay on until you turn it off. Make sure you save the template at the end or it won't stay the same for the next inspection. If you look at other people's reports you'l see them using all sorts of things. I'm guessing you expected it to change everywhere in the program when you changed it in one place?

Hmmm,  I'll try it some more...

I thought for sure I had cut and pasted "Observed" into that field in many places,
and then in generating the report, it didn't see to take,
but I'll give it a whirl again,

I think I have it working now... ;D  maybe I should be doing this in the AM, instead of later in the evening. :-[

Heh, I KNOW that feeling! Worked for hours on things at night many times only to figure it out in 5 minutes the next morning. Oh well! Glad you got it going.
