TOPIC: Global Photos Not Appearing on Home Inspector 5.4

My global photos I have attached to my comments are not working under the latest home inspector 5.4 update. When I select a text that has a global photo attached I get the error message, "there was an error loading the selected photo. Please review the link and try again."

Is this a new computer or a computer that you'd already loaded these images onto?

Same computer. I had to reload all my photos again. When I downloaded the new inspection software, the old software disappeared off my desktop with all my text comments. I'm glad I had a template on the cloud! That could have been rough. The texts were there, but the connection to the photos was lost.

HIP can't remove your files. It sounds like you actually ended up with 2 copies of the software on your machine now. So the old copy is still there with all your pics. You template you downloaded is looking for pics in the new install that don't exist. This can happen if you manually move HIP from another computer. Take a quick look at where HIP used to be to see if the installation is still there.
