TOPIC: 5.4 TROUBLE

Big kudos to Jason at HIP for rolling me back to 5.2.5 (5.3 rollback just wasn't working for me) until all of the wrinkles are worked out of 5.4. All is again working like a well oiled machine. Thank you Jason.

Not sure if this is happening in 5.4. I just went to download 5.4, noticed that 5.3 was what was available for the update. So I downloaded and updated from version 5.0 that I was using. In 5.3 when adding text to the caption of a photo if i try to enter the number 1 or 2 the software jumps backward to the previous tab if you hit 1 and forward if I hit 2. so to enter 1 or 2 in a caption I need to type out the word one or two.

Yes Charles, this same thing happened to me (along with other peculiar things when I upgraded to 5.4). Call HIP and have Jason roll you back to 5.2.5 (5.3... was their internal builds that still had some flaws) and the world will be right again. See my above post(s) regarding 5.4 & 5.3.

I have 5.3. These are issues I'm finding. Are these being worked on to resolve?
1. When in Photos, type the number 1 in the caption and it bounces back to the previous photo tab of photos.
2.In some of the Selection Panels the last character in a sentence or string of words is cut off. It also changes the last character if a bracket from ")" to ":"
3. After merging, only happens within Selection Panel. If the same selection is highlight in both reports, the main report after merging gets a duplicate comment added to bottom of the lists of comments.
4. This is my feed back on the pull downs. After selecting the comment it doesn't show up along with the list name. Its way easier for me to see (scan) the comment like in previous version when I switch back from another section to see what I selected. Its just more work to have to hoover over pull down to get a pop-up showing what comment was selected. Some time the pop-up doesn't work or has a delay.

Update to 5.4.5 and your issues are resolved. To see the actual list items click on Application Settings and choose that option.
