As the subject says, I'm transitioning the HIP mobile from Android 6 to Android 7 and everything works great but there is one thing that really has me befudled.
At the end of each inspection, I plug my phone into my laptop and navigate through the file directory to the HIP mobile and into the "Inspection" directory and find the inspection I just completed to copy all the pics just taken through HIP down to an SD card to be used for a slide presentation for the client. I've done this with HIP mobile with a Note 4 on Android 6, about 1500 times with no issues. Here is where it gets strange, the first time I tried this with the new phone running Android 7, the inspection wasn't even there or at least I couldn't see it. I can pull it up in the file manager within Android, but with the PC it is invisible. Now here's where it gets even stranger. . . after a few hours it can be seen by the PC and the pics can be copied and pasted to the SD card. This really hinders my ability to do the presentation that I've always done. Is there some sort of "Delayed Write" of the files that is in play here? |

Figured it out. . .
During the transition, software was used to transfer everything from the old phone to the new phone including apps and app data and I believe that this is where the problem stemmed from. After doing a factory reset on the new phone and reloading HIP everything worked fine. . . So when transitioning, be careful of transition software as it may have adverse effects. . . So there you have it. . . |

I'm glad you got it working! Have you tried the slideshow feature on the app by the way?

I did that today when it was just the realtor and I but when the client is there I like to get the pics a little bigger. . .
I'm assuming you are referring to the bottom left button under the "Inspect" tab. . . |

Yes, I am. A new feature we have coming out will make this easier for you though.
