TOPIC: Radon page and adding PDF's

I would like your opinion off my radon page.

The information is scattered and any thoughts are appreciated.

Question. Instead of my link for my sample report being in the text that says sample. How do you install the image of a PDF that would open to a sample report or whatever link I wanted.

That looks good from what I saw.  As far as the pic is concerned, upload the pic you want to the server, upload your report to the server, upload the pic to your site, highlight it, and create a link to your report.  Make sure when you make the link that you switch the protocol to 'other'.  That should fix you up!  Hope that made sense!

Once you add the picture David, you can right click and go to image properties.

Hit the tab on top that says link.

From there you can browse to the PDF and upload another picture and should work for a PDF too I would imagine.

Must admit I have not been good at working on my site, so it was my first visit in months, but it seemed easy enough.

I went on line on googled Adobe PDF image and there was a bunch to choose from.

I was able to add, edit and use on my radon page.

I think people would be more likely to open the PDF image Vs. highlighted text.

One day I need to change and add my sample report with the photo like John has.

Lets see, I need weather, blog, client survey, slideshows and add photos to my gallery.

Did you save that image to your computer then upload it to Dom's servers?  If not you are at the mercy of someone else's computers that may crash or be shut down for maintenance at any time.

Also go back and change your ALT Tag info.  When you hover over the pic, you want it to say something cool like "Radon Inspection" or something like that.  Sorry, I forgot to mention that before.    To do that go back into the edit mode, click on the 'source' button.  Find the code for that pic and then find the "ALT Tag" within it.    Change the verbiage in it to whatever you want it to say.

I just copied the image and saved to my pictures.

I can't see how that would affect my computer. There was no file attached just the image.

I added the alt text by right clicking on the image and changing thru image properties.

I dont see any text when I houver but it says it is there.
