TOPIC: down loading latest version

When down loading the new version should it replace the previous one, and if so will old templates, inspections, etc be saved in the new version?

Install new versions directly over existing versons. NEVER uninstall HIP as it'll remove your files. When you install a new version it never modifies any templates you've edited. This is why we added residential template 1 so existing users could see the new template.
