help me out, is there a law stating a real estate agent MUST be present during the entirety of an inspection???
I heard mention of it, but very frequently it happens the agent doesn't show up, or just calls with the entry code. WHICH is fine with me. So can anyone quote an actual law for Illinois? |

Hmm, I haven't heard that in any state either. Maybe it's just a recommendation?

Usually the "law" is just a requirement put on by the Multiple Listing Association that provides the key / access code capability to the agent.

There is nothing sweeter than the smell of fresh cut grass on a baseball infield, the click of a wooden bat and the taste of a hot dog at a warm sunny daytime double-header.

To the best of my knowledge, no..it's not in the licensing act.
But, the Illinois Licensing Act was coming due this January 1, 2012. It now states on www.idfpr.com the act is to be repealed January 1, 2022. www.ilga.gov/legislation/ilcs/ilcs5.asp?ActID=1359&ChapterID=24 Is any one aware of any significant changes? |
