As many of you know, after federal regulations changed a little over a year ago, banks started doing PCI Compliance Scans on websites. These also included questionnaires of up to 100 questions for guys to answer. Myself and Jeff Engle (our bank representative) have been trying to get both changed over the past year. This ended up in $20 fees some months to guys as their site would fail until we were notified of the new changes for the month that had to be changed on our server. Many times the problem didn't even exist so you had to 'prove' it. Then Jeff had to work to get you a refund.
Well, I'm happy to announce that Jeff got everyone moved over to the SAQ A form which requires NO more scans and just a 15 question form once a year. He's also working to get the PCI charges reduced. I know this was frustrating to some of you, and created a LOT more work for us which prevented other things from getting completed (like more features in HIP!). Thanks for your patience! |
