Well, the first Markanich grandchild was born today about 11am Mountain Daylight Time!

Mother and baby BOY are doing well.

No name yet, but the baby is 20" long and 7lbs, 7oz.

Born in Orem, Utah, my daughter was in labor for well over 40 hours! I guess at high altitude things take a little longer to cook...

We will be traveling out there the first weekend in November to see him.

This is pretty much how I am seeing things unfolding in a couple of years.
