TOPIC: Creepy Inspection

Have you ever had to inspect in a room full of snakes?? I did an inspection yesterday on a home that the owner sold snakes. The two car garage was full wall to wall and shelves in the middle. Could not inspect much, but as I was pulling the electrical panel I glanced over and has a large snake staring me in the face.

I'm guessing he's selling them at fairs and to pet stores. Looks like he's quite busy!

His house wasn't a short sale, so he must make enough to have some equity in his home. A rare thing around here.

A snake as a pet has never turned my crank.  To each his own I guess. 
Some people may stack boxes against the wall to hide something.  I wonder what he is hiding with these reptiles. 

Good call Bert...maybe nothing, but who's going to even think about moving all that?  Snakes have never bothered me, but I know plenty of folks that would lose their minds walking into a place like this!

I explained all that to the client. I told them there is no telling what this looks like when everything is removed. Didn't bother me until removing the electrical panel. It was right next to a stack of cages and I had a snake 2 inches from my face staring at me. The container said Texas Bull Snake. I don't think there poisonous, but I know the bull snakes around here are not very friendly.
