Don't know what I do wrong, but no matter what camera I used, went through 4-5 sets of batteries and was costing me a fortune.

In regards to the batteries I purchased 2 chargers, 1 duracell and 1 energizer. I have about 12 duracell rechargeable batteries. My camera and battery operated screw driver use AA. The batteries last for the inspection(up to 150 pics) then I recharge for the next day. Chargers also can be used for AAA.
This has worked great!! In the long run saves money. My cameras typically last me less then a year. I send back to cannon and they fix most of the time under warranty. I have about 6 cameras. 2 are the same as one is usually out being repaired. I only use the macro for taking pictures of data like the data plates. My cameras have a 10X zoom that works well when the camera is operating properly. Marcel, I hear you about the telescoping lens. This is what typically goes bad. |

Good afternoon David. For some odd reason, rechargables did not serve me very well either in the past either. Maybe I am buying to cheap a camera. But the one we must obey always gives me a hard time when spending money on a camera. She has a GE and I need two sets of AA for that one too. Lithium's also.
I think the camera Manufacturers are all in Cahoots with the battery companies. ;D |
