TOPIC: Direct Mail Postcards...

Hello Ladies and Gents... 

For about the last two years, I have not done any 'print' marketing, focusing primarily with 'on-line' and referrals. Although I have a good on-line presence, it just isn't cutting it by itself these days. Heck, even my Adwords campaign is only getting a couple of clicks per/month! I am very reluctant to place any newspaper, home magazine, etc... adverts as my last campaign 2-3 years ago totally sucked! Spent a ton of cash with very little to ziltch ROI. I had been contemplating doing a postcard direct mailing sample/test of 100 cards. Casey sent me an advert for a sale Vista Print had, so I went for it. I have posted the card for your "contructive critizism". This was quickly thrown together so I could take advantage of the sale pricing. If I get "any" positive repsonse from the mailing, I plan to expand it to 1,000 cards, and take it from there. I know it's too late for this batch, but I would like all your opinions, for future reference.

Please, if possible, if there is something you personally don't like, tell me, but also give me an idea on what you think would work better.

I appreciate all 'honest' opinions.

Where to you get the pictures for something like that.?

Thanks Marcel. The Front (picture) of the card is their template. I actually played around with it to get the text to format the way I wanted. Just got lucky I guess. I would have liked the color of the front to be 'blue', as that is my company color(s), (see Logo), but that template was only available in green. Oh, well. 

Where do you get the templates, do you have to buy them

Depending on the market in your area I'd add new home warranty inspections to the list. Did you scan this as two parts? The top looks crooked.

I saw that too Dom, but thought it was me looking at it lopsided.  ;D
