Has anyone here had any success with their local BNI organizations? I attended one here as a guest and was intrigued. There is a pretty steep investment to join, but it does give one an opportunity to market to others business people including some in realty.
There is a time commitment involved along with the financial investment. There are weekly meetings and finding referrals for others in the group. Just wondering what your experiences have been, good or bad. |

Troy:
I joined the local chapter 5 weeks ago. I have two referrals to date. One was from the Realtor who belongs to this chapter and one was for a member buying a home. You are correct about the initial fees and time investment. However I do not anticipate referring business to fellow members to be too much of a burden going forward. It is too early for me give you an definite answer but in the small community I live in it is a good way to get your name out with the backing of your fellow chapter members and their businesses that people in the community know of. I will update this post in the future and keep you and others who are interested advised. John |
