TOPIC: Blogging Works

I got a call from a realty office today.  They want me to come and give a presentation on Chinese Drywall.  I asked why they were calling me.

If you google "Nothern Virginia Chinese Drywall Expert" I come up #5, and the first home inspector.

This is because of blogging.  Google knows my blogs are out there, and tie them to my Northern VA proximity.

Pretty cool.  I expect a lot of business from that call...       

Awesome Jay!  I began a newspaper marketing campaign a month ago and got a call from it today.  Hey. we live a lot closer now...we're just up the road; do you make afternoon coffee? ;D

Hey Greg!  I used to go to Scranton to see my aunt, until she died last year.  But there is a family grave site there, with Markanichs all over the place.

When, and why, did you go to Scranton?

We moved back to PA because Carrie, my wife, and I are both from here.  We moved in October after we found the house and property we wanted.  We have youngins' and their grandparents and cousins are all back here.  I grew up near Honesdale and Carrie is from a place called Jackson.  We actually moved to Montrose, the county seat.  Starting the business all over again here has its challenges but we're here to stay. 

Looks like Montrose is near Reading, not anywhere near Scranton.

As to building the business - Blog, baby, blog.

Hey Jay, you are so right. Not only is blogging great for your web presence though. It is just great as a relief. It gets your creative juices flowing and helps cultivate new ideas for your business. Just my thoughts.
