I,m researhing moisture meters and would be intrested in hearing input on which products that have proven themselfs to be the most reliable and accurate.I'm also looking for a tester that is versatile as it will be used from concrete to drywall

I have been using a Tramex Moisture Encounter plus Meter and it has done well for me. It's non-invasive and it should work fine for what your going to use it for.

Tramex is a very nice one.

I use the GE Protimeter Survey Master. It has both pin probe and scanning features in one.

There are times the pins come in handy to make sure you're not scanning a metal object indicating a false positive.
