TOPIC: Time to upgrade

It time for me to upgrade and start using a tablet in the field. Phones seems too small.  I have looked at the Samsung Galaxy TabS8.4, which seems about the right size for the field, but I also considering purchasing the Surface Pro 3, as a back up computer. I not sure about bringing the Surface into the field, as it is expensive, and I afraid of damage.  I like finishing and editing reports at office, so I don't need cloud.  Any thoughts?

There's some very nice Surface Pro 3 cases you can use to protect the device. Which you actually use is up to personal preference.
